When will there be a girl president? What happened to Breonna Taylor? Who is that girl (Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg) and why are people so sad that she died? Are Illinois' coronavirus numbers going up or down? This year, 2020, is so unimaginable in so many ways and the questions keep coming from my 8 year-old girls, Stella and Sophia. Their short, on-going, on-point questions are deep and I'm trying to find the words to tell the stories, to say the names, to encourage my girls, and to help foster a better world.
I'm sure your kids are asking lots of questions too. We sure don't have all the answers.
