Throughout the holidays, beginning around Thanksgiving, I started to notice commercials for Reddi-wip dairy whipped topping. Actually, it was Eleanora who noticed and asked why we never bought it! Quite frankly, I knew if we did have it in our refrigerator, I would eat the whole can! I broke down and bought some for Thanksgiving with plans to serve with dessert. As a fun treat for the kids they all enjoyed a squirt of Reddi-wip right in their mouths BEFORE dessert! Honestly, these shenanigans don't typically occur, but it was the holiday! As you read this, you are probably wondering why I am going on about Thanksgiving and Reddi-wip....
Well, Happy National Pie Day! I could't resit writing a quick bit about Hasbro's Pie Face game in honor of National Pie Day! This game is made complete by using dairy whipped topping so of course I now find myself purchasing Reddi-wip more often than not so we can play Pie Face! My niece Stella first had this on her Christmas list and then Eleanora added it to her list! Luckily, the game made its way under the Christmas tree for Stella!
Stella, Eleanora, and her cousin, Nolan, all enjoyed the game the night of Christmas! The game is easily assembled, but the most important part is placing a dollop of whip cream on the "throwing arm." Each player must twist the handles as indicated by the spinner, but for one unlucky player, the twists will trigger the throwing arm and he/she will end up with "pie in the face." While the game is not only suspenseful and exciting, it will have you and all the others around laughing nonstop - honestly who can't use a good laugh! This is one of those games that keeps you on your toes and ends in laughter.
While it may have originally been intended for kids, I must say it is pretty fun when the adults get involved. What kid doesn't want to see their parent with pie in their face!! Oh, and yes - this is a messy game!
